Dyann,, has developed and managed several businesses within the transportation industry. She has over 30 years of success in business development and management. Her driving forces are people, sales, service and commitment.
Dyann has a significant desire to promote progressive and instrumental causes that will impact the lives of others with positive results, especially children. She served both as a member and a Chairperson on the “Keeping Children Safe Panel” for the State of Idaho Health and Welfare department for 5 years. As well as helping with several fundraising events, she also helped spearhead “Operation Backpack” program, designed to help children who were in transition from their homes into a more secure environment.
As a native of Idaho for over 50 years, she has a passion for camping and fishing. So, it would only be natural for her to bring her love of fishing and the outdoors to others, especially kids. With her patience and ability to teach and work well with kids and their families, the opportunity to help them learn how to fish while also learning to practice conservation and preservation of Idaho’s beautiful fishing lands are certainly a winning combination for Kids First Cast, Inc. as well as for the kids and families.

Traveled the world for the next 21 years retiring in 1986 and staying in Bremerton, Wa for the next 8 years before returning to Idaho in 1994. Worked as welder for various companies before retiring in 2002. Became a full time volunteer helping veterans for several years before backing off a little and finding Kids First Cast to fill in a few hours helping children learn about my second love, fishing.
Ron has a true devotion in his dedicated efforts to help local Veterans. He has demonstrated allegiance and trust as an AmeriCorps volunteer for years. Ron is invaluable in many capacities. He is always honest, trustworthy and a great team player. He is a great friend, mentor, and instructor for many. Kids appreciate Ron's knowledge in fishing, and his terrific personality.
